This is the resin resin-printing was built on, and it is still the reference. High detail, clean curing, predictable exposure — nearly every printer's factory profile is tuned around a material like this one, which is why a first print often comes out right without touching the settings.

Grey is the best-selling colour for a reason. A matte grey surface shows fine relief better than any other finish, both to the eye and to a camera. That is why miniatures, sculptural busts and test parts are printed in grey: a flaw is visible immediately, before any paint goes on. If you intend to paint the model, or you need a genuinely white surface, Standard Resin V2.0 in white is the better buy.

V1.0 and V2.0 are the same family and print the same way. V2.0 is the reformulated version, which ELEGOO credits with lower shrinkage, better accuracy and a milder smell. Both are hard materials and both are brittle in thin sections — swords, antennae and thin wings need care during cleanup.
